KCSD's mission is to build a flexible capital market infrastructure capable of servicing a wide range of financial instruments and providing custody, safekeeping, and settlement services to both domestic and international professional market participants.
KCSD supports the institutional, infrastructural, and IT-driven development of the securities market and plays a key role in enhancing effective mechanisms for financing the economy.
KCSD envisions its transformation from a local central securities depository into a regional clearing and settlement hub, providing services for the safekeeping and settlement of securities, while ensuring access to advanced technological platforms for investors and issuers to carry out their transactions.
The strategy is a key document for the development of the KCSD, as well as a guide to building a reliable and sustainable infrastructure to facilitate the growth of the number of investors and issuers, as well as the introduction of new financial technologies in the stock market of Kazakhstan.
