On the decree of the Bank of Russia’s Board of Directors

The Central Securities Depository, as referred to Euroclear, announces that in compliance with the decree of the Bank of Russia’s Board of Directors dated December 29, 2022 russian credit organisations, having Type "C" ruble accounts, is required to apply to the State corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (the Agency) to open correspondent Type "C" ruble accounts.

Correspondently National Settlement Depository (NSD) being russian credit organization is required to open correspondent Type "C" ruble account with the Agency, where the funds from all Type "C" ruble accounts held in NSD, including the funds from Euroclear Bank, should be reflected. However, Euroclear believes that this decree is not applied on Type "C" ruble account opened in name of Euroclear with NSD.
