The Central Securities Depository has developed and put into trial operation the service on automation of the process of registration of issuance, redemption and write-off of units of mutual investment fund (hereinafter - MIF) based on the order of the MIF management company.
Within the framework of the mentioned works AIS “My Account” (cabinet.kacd.kz) of the Central Securities Depository was supplemented with new modules:
-    “MIF management company” in the section “Issuer”;
-    “MIF custodian” in the “Custodian” section.
The following functions are available for MIF management companies and custodians in the new sections:
-    creation and sending of orders for issuance, redemption and write-off of MIF units (for a MIF custodian there is a possibility to create and send order for redemption and write-off of MIF units in case of suspension or revocation of the license of the MIF management company to carry out investment portfolio management activities);
-    confirmation or rejection of orders of the management company by the MIF custodian;
-    tracking of the order status from the moment of its creation to the completion of its processing by the Central Securities Depository;
-    creation of a similar order; 
-    receipt of printed forms of the order and report. 
Conditions for receiving services of the Central Securities Depository on registration of issuance, redemption and write-off of units of MIF on the platform of AIS “My Account”:
-    availability of established business relations between the management company and the Central Securities Depository (information on the license of the management company should be provided to the Central Securities Depository together with the application for establishment of business relations);
-     availability of established business relations between the MIF custodian and the Central Securities Depository (information on the custodian's license must be submitted to the Central Securities Depository together with the application for establishment of business relations).
Access to the service is provided for employees registered in AIS “My Account” with the roles “Editor” or “Signatory” for the respective services (exception - the first manager who has the specified roles by default).
Other methods of submitting orders for registration of issuance, redemption and write-off of units of MIF are currently excluded from the options under the amendments to the forms of operational documents approved and effective on May 02, 2024. In accordance with these changes, the order for registration of issuance, redemption or write-off of units drawn up in accordance with Form 14 shall be submitted only through the Issuer's personal account in electronic form and in exceptional cases may be submitted in the form of an original hard copy.
The date of the final transition to the exclusively specified mode of filing an order on Form 14 – June 03, 2024.
