Keeping the system of registers of securities holders and providing the partnership with information from system of registers on the basis of its request
Keeping the system of registers of securities holders/participants of the partnership. The register system of securities holders/participants of the partnership contains information about issuers/partnerships, securities/interests in authorized capital of the partnership and their holders, as well as on transactions with securities/ interests in authorized capital of the partnership.
Providing the issuer/partnership with information from register system on the basis of its request.
Registration of transactions/operations with securities/interests in authorized capital related to transfer of rights to them from one person to another.
In order to become a client of the Central Securities Depository, you need to submit an application for establishment of business relationship, drawn up on the basis of Forms of documents for establishment and maintenance of business relationship with Central Securities Depository JSC.
In addition to the application, it is necessary to attach documents according to the list approved by the decision of the Management Board of the Central Securities Depository. The list of documents depends on the category of the applicant (natural person, legal entity, resident or non-resident of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
The Central Securities Depository considers the application within five working days from the date of acceptance thereof, while reserving the right to reject the applicant to conclude a contract by sending a motivated refusal. The business relationship shall be deemed established as of the date specified in the notification of the establishment of the business relationship.
In order to open a personal account in the register system, it is necessary to submit an order for opening a personal account, the form of which is established by the internal document "Forms of Operative Instruments Used During Registrar and Depositary Activities of Central Securities Depository JSC", which is a part of the set of rules of the Central Securities Depository, with attachment of necessary documents: for an individual it is necessary to fill out form 1, for a legal entity – form 2.
In order to receive a specific service of the Central Securities Depository, a client shall submit an application or administrative document (for example, an application or an order) determined for such case by the relevant internal document of the Central Securities Depository, which is a part of its set of rules.
The Central Securities Depository accepts operative instruments and issues operative instruments either electronically (SWIFT, EDMS, LC) or as originals in hard copy, inter alia, via transfer agents.
