Opening and keeping the bank accounts of professional market participants, of which one account is opened for the professional participant's own funds and another is opened for the funds of its clients.
Opening and maintaining correspondent accounts for banks and organizations performing certain banking operations.
Carrying out transfer operations on behalf of clients (money transfer).
Settlement of transactions in financial instruments.
Payment of remuneration/dividends as part of the paying agent function.
Bank accounts opened for participants are multi-currency. Money in bank accounts are recorded in the currencies in which the accounts of the Central Securities Depository are opened with the servicing banks.
Current accounts are open for participants who are not banks or organizations engaged in certain types of banking operations. Correspondent accounts are opened for participants, who are banks or organizations engaged in certain types of banking operations, as well as KASE.
Each participant has two accounts: an account for recording the participant's own money and an account for consolidated recording of money of the participant's clients.
Opening and keeping an account is free of charge.
An electronic statement is provided free of charge after the close of the Central Securities Depository's business day, if there is any movement on the bank account, via the Bank-Client AWS or via SWIFT. The statement can also be provided on paper upon request – 50 tenge per sheet (full or partial A4 sheet).
When filling out an application to open a bank account, there is an opportunity to choose the currency for bills payment.
Through monthly invoicing.
The fee for money transfer in national currency is 50 tenge + fee to pay for the services of KISC. The fee for money transfer in foreign currency is 500 tenge + fee to pay for the services of the servicing bank.
