Accounting of unclaimed assets. It is about the assets that were due to the shareholder in the form of dividends or proceeds from the mandatory sale of shares to the majority shareholder but were not paid due to lack of information about the actual details of the shareholder at the issuing company or in the register of securities holders.
The Central Securities Depository makes payment of unclaimed assets to the persons entitled to them after receiving the list of shareholders from the joint-stock company. Dividends are transferred to the bank account of the client within 10 calendar days from the date of updating its details in the case of successful identification of the holder.
1. Application of physical/legal entity for establishment of business relationship with Central Securities Depository JSC as per form 1/form 2, with attachment of documents specified in the list of documents for establishment of business relationship (https://www.kacd.kz/.../policy/business_relations/actual/).
2. Order for opening a personal account of an individual (legal entity) as per form 1/form 2 (if necessary, or if the personal account is conditional), indicating bank account details of the personal account holder in the section "Bank Details for Inclusion in the Lists of Instrument Holders", with a copy of the bank statement containing the account details attached.
3. Order to merge personal accounts made as per form 10 (if necessary, or if the personal account is conditional). The order shall be accompanied with the documents that allow you to identify the account holder from the data registered in the personal account of conditional nature.
Order to change the details as per form 1/form 2, indicating in the section "Bank Details for Inclusion in the Lists of Instrument Holders" the current bank account details of the personal account holder, with a copy of the bank statement containing the account details attached.
Yes, if the client has an electronic digital signature, the documents can be sent via the User Account service on the KCSD portal.
Dividends are transferred to the bank account of the client within 10 calendar days from the date of updating its details.
