Recently, there have been publications concerning the situation with the shares of "AltynEx Company" JSC in the media. In these publications it was mentioned that the Central Securities Depository allegedly "re-registered shares without judicial decision" and "deprived the lawful owner of property rights", and "Central Securities Depository of Kazakhstan unexpectedly and independently re-registered the shares of AltynEx Company JSC". We would like to clarify that this information is inaccurate and requires further explanation.

The Central Securities Depository is a specialized non-commercial organization performing functions related to the registration of securities, recording of transactions, and confirmation of rights related to securities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Central Securities Depository strictly adheres to the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and does not make changes to the records of personal accounts (subaccounts) of the registered bodies. In this particular case, the Central Securities Depository acted consistently and impartially by executing the decision of the judicial officer, who is authorized by law to carry out actions for the compulsory enforcement of court decisions.

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the decision of the judicial officer takes effect from the day it is made and is subject to mandatory execution. Failure to comply with this decision is subject to legal responsibility.
