On October 12-18, 2026, in Bangkok (Thailand), within the framework of Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, the delegation of Kazakhstan held meetings with leading international financial institutions and investors. The Central Securities Depository of Kazakhstan (KCSD) participated in the work.

In addition to discussing the economic situation in Kazakhstan, a special attention was paid at the meetings to plans to reform and further develop the capital market, modernize its infrastructure and expand foreign investors' access to Kazakhstani securities.

During key meetings with Clearstream and Euroclear international depositories, the prospects for developing direct ties with KCSD were discussed, and at a separate meeting with J.P. Morgan, the prospects for including government securities of Kazakhstan in the GBI-EM emerging markets index were discussed.

Plans were also presented to international partners to launch a single information portal on the capital market of Kazakhstan, which will combine key market information, including statistics, data on securities, news, legislation and analytical materials.

"The development of international relations, modernization of infrastructure and increased market transparency create conditions for expanding the participation of global investors and further integrating Kazakhstan into the international financial system," said Ivan Serdyuk, Chairman of the KCSD Management Board.

The meetings confirmed the importance of consistent development of market infrastructure and cooperation with international partners to increase the accessibility and attractiveness of the Kazakhstani capital market.
