Amendment No. 6 (Amendment) to the Rules for Execution of Certain Types of Banking Operations was approved by the decision of absentee voting of the members of the Board of Directors of Central Securities Depository JSC (Central Securities Depository), which was held on November 08, 2024.
This Amendment was developed in order to minimize the risks inherent in the activities of the Central Securities Depository, possible due to non-compliance with the requirements of OFAC, recordkeeping organizations and/or servicing banks when they establish requirements, restrictions and/or special conditions that directly affect the activities of the Central Securities Depository.
The Amendment provides for the expansion of the list of reasons for refusing to fulfill the instructions of clients of the Central Securities Depository.
The Amendment shall be effective as of December 04, 2024.
