A formal award ceremony was held as part of the large-scale foresight session "Board of Directors of the Future," organized by the professional community Qazaq Independent Directors (QID). The event aimed to acknowledge and encourage the outstanding contribution of the community's members to the development and promotion of best corporate governance practices in Kazakhstan.
One of the award laureates and the recipient of the "Excellence in Board Governance" nomination was Azamat Myrzadanovich Djoldasbekov, an independent director of the Central Securities Depository. He was recognized by the professional community for his outstanding competence and active work in promoting key principles of effective corporate governance.
The "Board of Directors of the Future" foresight session itself has established itself as a significant platform for the open exchange of opinions and experiences between representatives of government agencies, national companies, the private sector, and independent directors, and has laid the foundation for further improvement of governance standards in the country.

The Qazaq Independent Directors (QID) Association is the only professional non-profit organization in Kazakhstan, established in 2007 to develop the institution of independent directors and promote high standards of corporate governance in the country.
