Transfer of amounts due to eligible holders of corporate securities in nominee holding of the Central Securities Depository out of the funds received by the Central Securities Depository from the issuer. The service is provided in relation to the instruments of the same denomination and can be provided repeatedly during the whole period of payments by the issuer on the instruments of this denomination.
To appoint the Central Securities Depository as a paying agent, the issuer must amend the prospectus on appointing the Central Securities Depository as a paying agent for the securities in its nominee holding and have it approved by the authorized body.
Paying agent services allow the issuer to make a large number of payments in a short time. Distortion of data on beneficiaries is excluded, as the Central Securities Depository is a primary source of information about beneficiaries of interest on securities in its recording system. Besides, the time spent on the formation and transfer of the list of beneficiaries of interest on securities is reduced.
